For each person one\u2019s whole life is a way to oneself. Everyone chooses their own path. My path is art as a lifestyle, or rather life itself. It is a complicated way of self-discovery, spiritual development, pursuit of perfection. When I\u2019m creating, I’m living life to the fullest.
\nA painting is a living organism. It is born with stretching the canvas to fit the frame and is fully formed to the end of the work. Then it starts to live its ownlife, radiating the energy that the artist has breathed into it.
\nEach artwork should convey a positive message, create a good mood. Therefore, the inner world of its creator is a crucial factor. Creating a picture means working on oneself a lot. Evolution of the inner world perfects one\u2019s capabilities to convey the beauty, plentitude and divine essence of the world.
\nEach picture should be filled with meaning and purpose. Copying<\/div>\n
merely a visible reality is not interesting for me. Therefore, I attach great importance to symbols. Their aim is to evoke the viewer\u2019s desire to unravel their inherent message, to reflect. Each object in the picture adds up to its basic idea, emphasizes the individuality and uniqueness of the portrayed. Thus ordinary items take on completely different, often philosophical and\/or fairytale meaning, assume surrealism-like shapes and sizes.
\nIn my work I prefer the Flemish Seven Layer technique in oils. It was used by many great artists of different countries and ages, such as Bruegel, Vermeer , Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, Caravaggio and others. I believe, the traditions are the source of truth as well as the finest and infallible painting techniques.
\nEach my painting is a living creature for me and I am very sensitive and<\/div>\n
responsible about the whole creative process. I stretch, size and prime canvases with the sefl-made primer I make myself and use only the best French\/Dutch oils. This ensures the longevity, bright colors, colourdurability, and a chance for my customers and their descendants to enjoy a real art throughout life.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
